Second Floor, Front of the House
Wildflower Room at the Dowds' Country Inn


The Wildflower Room - when the Innkeeper purchased the Inn, she recalls looking out the windows of this room at wildflowers covering the entire yard.

It is a cozy room with a queen bed, tucked away on the second floor above the kitchen and overlooking the breakfast room patio and courtyard.

WILDFLOWER Room Testimonials at the Dowds' Country Inn
October 6th Columbus Day Weekend,
I am here for my daughters cross country race in Thetford, VT. She is staying elsewhere with her team. I miss my other daughter and husband who could not attend, so I am here alone. This Inn and room-"Wildflower", are as I imagined. It is so welcoming and cheerful and cozy. After a very long trip from southern Connecticut, including a flat tire, this is a most welcome sight. The cup of tea I was offered was just delightful. My dream of a pleasant and peaceful night has been answered. Thank you.
